Lauren Train is an executive recruiter with a background in sales, marketing, and project management. Lauren’s forte is in building positive, professional relationships and gaining an in-depth knowledge of her client’s culture and hiring needs. She partners with candidates throughout the process to ensure they can put their best foot forward, while she communicates effectively with all. She strives to see opportunities from both the candidate side and the employer’s perspective, considering each position to be filled as a chance to create a “win-win” for both Parker Blake’s client and for the new hire.

Lauren is an inveterate learner with a strong desire to tackle new markets, new clients, and new projects. She is always looking for an opportunity to grow in her field and to be creative in her search of finding the best candidate for a position.

She has earned a master’s degree from Georgia College and State University and a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from the University of Alabama. Lauren is a runner, enjoys counseling college students on careers, and is active in her church. She lives near Atlanta with her husband and four children.

It’s that curiosity and fact-finding passion that led Jackie into the recruiting profession. Creating a happy marriage between the hiring company and the best-fit candidate involves a deep understanding of the client’s culture, current professional needs, and expected trajectory. Matching that with a candidate’s skills, leadership style, industry background, and personal considerations is a challenge that fits Jackie’s palette of skills.

“Talent acquisition is like marketing, in many ways. I’m ‘selling’ the client’s company and the position to the most appropriate ‘buyer’ – the best-fit candidate. With each interaction, I’m helping to build the client’s employer brand. And because I did extensive fact-checking in the publishing world, I find the fact-checking of a candidate’s background to be a natural fit,” Jackie said.
